Lawson is Andy Brown (vox/guitar), Joel Peat (lead guitar), Adam Pitts (drums), and Ryan Fletcher (bass). From the four corners of England they first met online via Youtube and Myspace, and then in real life in the pub.

Christening themselves Lawson, they spent the next year criss-crossing the country in a beat-up van playing shows. Their combination of hard graft and songwriting craft paid off and Lawson inked a deal with Polydor Records.

Having toured alongside the likes of Avril Lavigne, Will Young and The Wanted, the band has earned themselves a loyal and emphatic fan base.

Their debut album Chapman Square, recorded largely in Los Angeles with Grammy Award winning producer John Shanks, was released October 2012. The lead single and second single, “When She Was Mine” and “Taking Over Me, reached number four and number three respectively on the UK Singles Chart.
