The Nashville-based company represents top songwriters including Meghan Trainor, Josh Kear, and Maren Morris, among many others that have been recognized with four Grammys, twenty-eight Number Ones, four ASCAP/BMI Country Songs of the Year awards, and numerous ASCAP/BMI Pop awards.
Big Yellow Dog Music has experienced worldwide success with hits such as “All About That Bass”, “Lips Are Movin,” and “No” co-written by Meghan Trainor; “My Church” and “80s Mercedes” co-written by Maren Morris; “Need You Now” (performed by Lady Antebellum) co-written by Josh Kear; and “Before He Cheats” and “Blown Away” (performed by Carrie Underwood) co-written by Josh Kear.

On the heels of the 59th GRAMMY award nominations, which Meghan Trainor announced on December 6, 2016, Maren Morris is up for four GRAMMY's including "Best New Artist," "Best Country Song," "Best Country Album," and "Best Country Solo Performance." She was also recently a featured performer on SNL. Both Maren (Breakthrough Artist award) and Meghan (Chart Topper award) were recently honored at the Billboard Women in Music Awards on December 9.
Establishing a name for themselves both commercially and in popular culture, Big Yellow Dog Music’s cuts include, in addition to the above, songs performed by Fifth Harmony, Jason Derulo, Charlie Puth, DJ Khaled, Keith Urban, Luke Bryan, Demi Levato, and Rascal Flatts.
