    We are hiring a Financial Analyst to play a key role in executing the corporate finance, M&A and accounting functions for a rapidly growing, innovative leader in the music publishing industry. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and will be based in New York, NY.

    Responsibilities include:

    • Analysis, modeling and structuring of business, M&A and financing transactions
    • Assisting in efforts re capital raising and other financial and strategic transactions
    • Preparation of data analytics re our business and our industry
    • Financial reporting and analysis including preparation of financial statements for the executive team, the Board, investors and lenders
    • Consolidation of financial reports from a number of global subsidiaries and business units
    • Preparation of detailed annual budgets, short- and long-term P&L and cash flow forecasting, metrics reporting and ad hoc analysis
    • Helping to manage banking relationships

    Job Requirements:

    • 2+ years of experience in progressively responsible finance roles, ideally in commercial or investment banking or in an analytical corporate finance or accounting role. Experience in the music and entertainment sector a plus but not required.
    • Must be extremely proficient in Excel, with a thorough understanding of Excel’s advanced capabilities for manipulating and analyzing large amounts of data.
    • Excellent internal and external communication skills, both written and verbal, with consideration to the intended audience, and ability to distill complex issues into structured frameworks and concrete action plans.
    • Must be a creative thinker, a problem solver and a self-starter. You should feel comfortable challenging the status quo and thinking of ways to improve processes.
    • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus.
