Niall Horan's 'Flicker' Debuts at #1

Downtown singer and songwriter, Niall Horan's first solo album Flicker has debuted at #1 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart!

Released on Capitol Records, Flicker's success follows two smash singles powering the momentum of this record, "This Town," and the current "Slow Hands," now in the Top 10 on the Top 40 Mediabase airplay chart.

Flicker is the result of a year-and-a-half-long writing and recording process. “It’s something that I’ve worked really hard on and I’m incredibly proud of it,” Niall tweeted. "This is the first time I’ve put my thoughts and emotions on paper and then onto record and it feels really good.”

The 13-track record showcases a vibrant acoustic pop sound crafted by several accomplished tunesmiths, such as Adele co-writer Tobias Jesso Jr. and Kings of Leon producer Jamie Scott.

The album also features a duet with Downtown client Big Yellow Dog's country music star Maren Morris. The track is titled "Seeing Blind,” and the duo will be performing it Live at the Country Music Association awards on Wednesday, 8th Nov on ABC.

Niall is undoubtedly one of the most successful songwriters of his time. Apple Music's produced documentary “On The Record: Flicker,” features interviews with Niall, the year-and-a-half-long writing process, and behind-the-scenes footage from recording sessions and acoustic rehearsals.
