Good Girl Reaches #1 On Country Radio

Songwriter Andy Albert earned his first number one song at country radio with Dustin Lynch's "Good Girl," co-written with Lynch and Justin Ebach. He stopped by the Downtown Nashville office to celebrate.

"Been dreaming of this since the day I moved to Nashville," Albert posted on Instagram. "Beyond thankful to be a part of this song with [Dustin Lynch] and [Justin Ebach]!"

Andy contributed to some of the most performed country songs in 2017 and 2018, as recognized by ASCAP, and has written hit singles like “She’s Got a Way With Words” by Blake Shelton, Granger Smith’s “If the Boot Fits,” and Nick Fradiani’s “All On You.”

“Good Girl” continues Downtown Nashville's recent string of country number ones, including Marc Beeson's "Hometown Girl," performed by Josh Turner, and two by Kelly Archer: Brett Young’s "Sleep Without You" and "Somebody Else Will" by Justin Moore.
