London based artist JAKL burst onto the scene as one of Glastonbury's emerging talents last year. His ethereal and emotionally raw music has already lead to several sold-out headline shows. He returned to Glastonbury earlier this summer to headline the PRS stage.
Born into a family of musicians, his influences range from John Martyn, Bon Iver and Jeff Buckley to the music of his opera singing father.
The Londoner has secured national radio airplay from a Huw Stephens session to Jo Good (XFM), BBC Introducing and BBC 6 Music and is currently working with producer David Kosten. (Bat for Lashes, Everything Everything).
